Overview of role
Location: Liverpool
Our Liverpool Hotplate Site is the heart of our snack baking products - Crumpets & Pancakes! The successful candidate will join an experienced and collaborative team working to keep our site efficient and effective.
The role of a Maintenance Shift Engineer is a varied and challenging one. You will be expected to identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives alongside proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs to the plant and site services associated with a major bakery. Shift pattern for the role is 4-on, 4-off (2 days followed by 2 nights).

Key Accountabilities
1. Diagnose and correct automation, electrical and mechanical issues to resolve breakdown situations.
2. Ensure our engineering strategy is delivered consistently.
3. Deliver turn-key improvement projects in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
4. Drive the performance of the Engineering function forward.
5. Focus on safe working practices and site performance KPI’s including OEE and CCOs.

4. A Higher National Certificate (HNC) in an electrical, automation or multiskilled engineering discipline is desirable, supported by suitable experience.
