Project Engineer Highway Design
Via East Midlands are currently seeking four Project Engineers with experience in Highway Maintenance and Developments to join our Highway Design team based at our Head Office in Bilsthorpe Nottinghamshire.

What youll do:
* Design and manage the delivery of highway related construction and maintenance projects which may be complex and significant.
* Provide specialist design, technical and cost advice to internal and external clients.
* Manage the evaluation and authorisation of externally designed engineering schemes to ensure the highway asset meets regional and national design specification and safety standards.
* Collaborate with Vias Construction and Commercial Division to manage workflow to support achievement of company business plan objectives.
* Manage consultation, communication and liaison with clients and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including members of the public and elected.
* Members to facilitate project delivery and maintain positive company reputation.
What were seeking:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject and post qualification relevant experience or equivalent knowledge.
* Strong ICT skills including competence in specialist computer applications used to support engineering design activities.
* Working knowledge of current highway and civil engineering design standards, contracts, and procedures.
* Knowledge of health and safety, technical, traffic management and other legislation and good practice.
* A high level of personal drive and commitment to excellent customer care and the ability to set an example to other staff.
* Full UK driving Licence.
