Ark Workplace Risk, part of Helix International Group, is looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager.
About the Role
Ark Workplace Risk is seeking Senior Fire, Health & Safety Consultants to join our growing team. You will be part of a market-leading team of professionals undertaking risk assessments and advising on Fire, Health and Safety, primarily in high-risk and tall buildings.
The position requires travel into London on average 3 days a week, with all travel expenses covered. The successful candidate will be well-supported by an experienced team and will receive any additional training required through our development program. There is also a mentorship program for those wishing to participate.
Suitable candidates will have experience in risk assessments on high-risk or taller buildings within the built environment, either residential or commercial, and will demonstrate a passion for fire and health and safety, bringing a positive approach to providing high-quality assessments.
Responsibilities
* Undertake fire risk assessments and general health and safety assessments across various property types, including tall and high-risk buildings (Commercial, residential, retail, and public buildings).
* Conduct other types of risk-based assignments within your competence level.
* Use standards appropriate to conform to the correct fire-related building regulations and safety standards.
* Provide a practical and methodical approach to solving problems related to health, safety, and fire safety of sites.
* Report writing using user-friendly software solutions.
* Attend and keep up to date with your CPD personal development plans, updates, and courses as directed by the company (Ark funds courses to increase your certification and knowledge).
Qualifications
* 2+ years of risk assessment experience within the built environment in residential and/or commercial buildings.
* 2+ years of experience delivering fire risk assessments.
* Good working knowledge of BS 9999 / 9997.
* Articulate and clear communicators with report writing abilities and a comprehensive understanding of current UK regulations.
* NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety or equivalent SKEB is preferred but not essential.
* Recognized fire safety memberships (e.g., MIFireE, GIFireE, MIFSM) or working towards them.
* Minimum level 3 fire safety qualifications, with strong experience working towards or holding level 4 qualifications such as CFPA - E Dip or equivalent.
