An expanding Loss Adjusting Division of a Major Claims Management business seeks to appoint an experienced Property Claims Handler to join a growing team providing an award-winning Customer Service to their Property Insurance Policyholders.Â

Duties:
* Manage the claims process with a customer focus
* Be at the forefront by liaising with policyholders who would like to make a claim for property damage (Buildings and Contents) resulting from all general perils (fire, flood, storm, escape of water, accidental damage, theft etc.)
* End to end handling of claims domestic & commercial policies within defined delegated authority limits and processes
* Act as the Insurer, taking incoming first notification of losses direct from the customer
* Validating policy cover
* Triage customers claims for validation and proactively manage the customer journey throughout the claims lifecycle
* Negotiate settlements
* The role is fast-paced, telephone biased where you will support the wider physical and virtual teams
 Key responsibilities:
* Register all new claims accurately
* Proactively manage a caseload of losses, setting customer expectations
* Assist with enquiries, liaising both verbally and written
* Work closely with the team, providing support/assistance when required
* Work to achieve all KPIâs and deliver a first-class service
* Manage complaints
* Undertake Virtual desktop assessments and assist with building schedules of repair, using repairs strategy.
* Identification of Fraud and Recoveries
