The job holder’s main responsibility is to ensure the stores department provides an effective and efficient service to the plant. Member of the stores department working closely with the Stores Process lead and wider S,P&D team. The role is key to ensuring spare parts availability for the plant, which are stored in a safe, clean and useable condition. Key Responsibilities: Material issues - Using Multi fox Barcode system to download into SAP all spare part inventory movements - Book all Material Returns. Spare Parts - Support in finding parts by request. - Supporting Ardagh employees and contractors on request. - Booking spare parts out for non-Ardagh employees when required and approved. Goods Receipting. - Unloading of large / heavy deliveries - Booking in deliveries. - Booking in all Coil Deliveries. - Sign for all deliveries - Reconcile against goods received notes - Storage of parts in correct location Additions to stock. - Create Location for new stock and Barcode item. Unloading of materials. - Follow Safety and Company Procedure and ensure drivers are aware of procedures. - Bulk or Contained Materials Housekeeping - Drum park / oil stores / external stores area - Daily tidying of stores / Engineering Unit Stores area and office. - Decanting of IBC’s - Loading of IBC’s and Drums as required. - Ensure all containers have lids and capped. - Empty rain water from bulk bunds in line with BPE Procedure - Remove empty pallets and store / dispose of correctly. - Keep designated areas clear from obstruction. - Label all waste products and store correctly inclusive of item for stand trailer. PI Checks. - Conduct 2 inventory counts per annum. Stock Management - Ensure stock is stored in a safe and clean condition. - Proactive monitoring of empty bins and stock levels. - Promote FIFO stock rotation. - Ensuring consumable items are in stock - L ocate all Products in their designated areas. - Monitor stock of Gas Products and Storage Cage is Locked. - Re-stock down day cages with required parts. - Weekly Stock check of Coils. Consignment Stock - To receipt and issue consignment stock. Consumable stock check - Carry out Each Monday. Flexibility - Work hours deemed necessary to meet Plant demands. - Duties to cover are not limited to Engineering stores / warehouse. - Cover for stores administrator during holidays and sick leave. - Facilitate and undertake training as and when required Facilitate Stores Improvement Projects Dispatching - Arrange parcel carrier collections / courier services when required Cover for stores administrator such as but not limited to:- Issuing aluminum coil on a Monday morning Ordering consumables on a Monday Monitor bulk lacquer and schedule deliveries. Monitor waste skips and arrange collections. Maintain waste documentation. Arrange collection of empty IBC’s and waste.
