We are now seeking to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our City East CMHT on a full-time or part-time basis. We are really pleased that you are seeking a career at LPT. You will be receiving a £7,500 recruitment and retention premia, which will be paid over the 3 years on top of your salary, and a relocation package up to £8,000 (subject to conditions). Applications are invited from registered medical practitioners who have or are eligible for a CCT or an equivalent approved indicator of training and eligible for entry onto the Specialist Register within six months of the interview date.

Informal visits and enquiries are welcomed. We want a Consultant Psychiatrist who can deliver the highest quality of clinical care to our patients and carers. The post holder will be required to work in partnership at both strategic and operational levels with relevant and external stakeholders.
The post holder will need to ensure that people who use services, carers, and advocates are treated with respect and dignity. Provide excellent clinical leadership and actively develop your team along with expert advice to our hospital and community specialists, managers, and directors on what is needed to deliver excellent care and future strategic directions. The Consultant has a continuing responsibility for the care of patients and for the proper functioning of the department. The consultant will liaise with the General Practitioners, hospital and community specialists, and other agencies wherever relevant.
