We are looking for a Compliance Assistant to join ElectraLink’s Compliance and Data Privacy Team. This is an interesting and varied role, where you will report to the Head of Compliance and Data Privacy and will provide support with the implementation and running of best practice and governance. This will include carrying out audits and assessing due diligence.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with coordinating and conducting legal compliance audits, drafting audit reports, identifying any recommendations and monitoring implementation of those recommendations.
* Assist with reviewing and overseeing the completion and maintenance of DPIAs and Data Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDDQs).
* Assist with maintaining the records of processing activities in line with data protection compliance requirements.
* Play an active part in the development of the data privacy and compliance functions.
* Assist the Legal and Compliance Department with process and policy improvements.
* Assist with the development and maintenance of legal and compliance training and maintaining a record of compliance.
* Provide administrative support to the Legal and Compliance Departments.
* Ensure all compliance documentation is properly filed and organised for easy access and retrieval.

What you'll need:
* Basic understanding of compliance, data protection and risk management with previous legal, compliance, data protection or audit experience preferred.
* A genuine commitment to a career in legal compliance.
* Ability to draft reports, memos, and compliance documentation.
* Effective prioritisation and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to detail and problem solving.
* Self-motivated and highly proactive.
* Strong communicator with positive influencing and interpersonal skills.
