The portfolio of content covers series and movies across a selection of brands, that rang e from Disney, Pixar, Marve l, Star Wars to Fox & National Geographic. Within the service, there is the opportunity to stream the latest blockbuster movies through to nostalgia driven series from the 1980s and beyond. All content is available to be streamed on multiple devices and in an on-demand manner tha t reflects the subscriber’s expectations. Disney is an important strategic priority for the company, this role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to drive growth of the service across Europe. The Planning Co-ordinator will operate in the European wide network of Content Planners ; each having the specific responsibility of delivering the best and most competitive content offering for the tastes of that market. The successful candidate will be able to competently balance the global vision and wider strategies with local services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the information flow to the European markets from international stakeholders. Strong communication and organisational skills will be need ed to ensure all practical and strategic updates around the service are effectively shared with all relevant stakeholders at a local level. The candidate will also be responsible for assisting presentations, document up-keep, and running projects and data entry for EMEA-wide schedules. The role will also require the successful candidate to communicate and answer questions relating to content and strategies from other Disney lines of business (LOBs) within the wider business. Close liaison will be with colleagues in the US who manag e the preparation and planning of content for the service. Clear and time critical information will need to be shared ver b ally and via a variety of forms and systems in order to ensure the broader Disney content workflow process operates as. The role will support the Planning Supervisor Disney EMEA where they will work together to develop strategic plans for EMEA, develop work processes, implement system updates and support local markets with c ontent information. The post-holder will need a detailed knowledge of local SVOD and DTC market s, key players and developing strategic initiatives so that they can work on ensuring Disney remains ahead of the competitive set in the se markets. It is expected that you have strong knowledge and understanding of all the brands and content featured on the service a long with a passion for entertainment and the latest technology involved in delivering that content to subscribers. This is an office-based role. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home. The Opportunity & Responsibilities: Responsible for supporting all aspects of planning across Europe ranging from identifying trends in content through to the pract ical scheduling of the content and inventory management. Work collaboratively with the Disney content lead on delivering a mixture of content and achieving EU quota volumes. Role to liaise with the US Programming, Operations and Technology teams to ensure best in class work processes and timely content delivery. Role to manage pan-EMEA projects that include documentation updates, liaising with local markets and data analysis. Role to ensure all tracking documents that cover the short, medium and long term content plans for the service are kept up-to-date and to high levels of accuracy. Seek to ensure the tracking documents and processes used are constantly reviewed, developed and improved so information is shared in the most effective manner. Scheduling assistance to all European teams via the utilisation of the Disney content management system “ What’ s On ”, Content Planning Tool, AirTable, or via any other required tool or process. Ensure information is shared in a timely manner but also in a format and style that allows for ease of understanding and clarity. Accountable for handling sensitive planning information in a discrete and appropriate manner. The Experience & Skills We Require From You: Experience of working with content windowing. Experience working within a broadcast or SVOD environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge and appreciation of the core Disney & Fox brands featured within the service. Ability to build rapport with diverse teams across multiple territories. Experience of working within E xcel / G oogle S heets. Experience of working within a CMS. Ability to produce and deliver presentations via P owerpoint.
