Front of House Supervisor

Salary: £27,248 per annum

What you will be doing?
The Brink Liverpool is part of the Forward Trust which operates across the UK. The Brink Café serves a flourishing and established recovery community which links seamlessly with the general public and the wider community.
The Brink Café, based in Liverpool's city centre, is an award-winning alcohol-free café bar established in 2011. It offers healthy food and a variety of non-alcoholic drinks, providing individuals with addiction problems a discreet way to seek help and support.
The Brink is a well-regarded central HUB that boasts an entertainment venue offering activities such as open mic nights, film screenings, afternoon teas, holistic therapies, and forums for various services and communities in the Liverpool City Region.
We are looking for an individual who can be flexible, has a passion for learning, and can show empathy in line with the Brink community ethos. The opportunity to help and support those in recovery is a significant responsibility, and we welcome applicants with similar experiences or other instances of lived experience.
The ideal candidate should be available for shifts from Sunday to Saturday, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. They should be open to contributing ideas for events and business growth and be prepared to go the extra mile. Responsibilities include supporting the General Manager in providing services and events and assisting the chef with general kitchen and café duties.
This role supports the General Manager with running the Brink Café, including event planning and delivery, ensuring high-quality service delivery for all customers and clients. Flexibility to work shifts from Sunday to Saturday, including evenings and weekends, is required.

We seek an individual with supervisory experience to support and organize front-of-house staff, train staff in expected levels of customer service, and maintain a customer-focused environment while respecting others and valuing diversity.
Skills and Experience:
1. Leadership skills
2. Running day-to-day café service
3. Supporting The Brink to achieve sales and profit targets as directed by the General Manager
4. Organizing events to run efficiently
5. Deputizing in the General Manager's absence
6. Supporting health and safety of the venue
7. Ensuring compliance with licensing laws and other statutory regulations
