We’re working with a top tier main contractor who are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of civil engineering projects within the Water sector. This is a great opportunity to take charge of projects from start to finish, ensuring high standards in safety, quality, and cost control. The Role: You will oversee the construction site, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include: Project Management: Lead and manage project teams, ensuring successful and safe delivery. Quality & Compliance: Oversee production of project plans, RAMS, ITPs, and waste management plans. Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key liaison, ensuring customer satisfaction. Cost Control: Monitor budgets, maintain cost efficiency, and identify value engineering opportunities. Reporting: Produce accurate reports and chair weekly site meetings. What You Need: Experience in civil engineering project delivery within a highly regulated environment. Strong knowledge of CDM regulations, NEC/JCT contracts, risk management, and cost control. CSCS card and SMSTS (essential). Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Temporary Works Coordinator and Confined Space training (preferred). Leadership skills with the ability to challenge designs, resolve problems, and drive compliance. What’s in It for You?
