My client is an award-winning advice firm with offices in Norfolk and Suffolk, established for over 35 years. Their Norwich team is looking for a Financial Services experienced candidate, ideally with some time spent working in employee benefits, though candidates with a solid IFA practice background will also be considered. You will be responsible for providing administration and general support to an Employee Benefits Consultant in the day-to-day running of client accounts across a range of products and services.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
You may not have strong knowledge in all the disciplines of pensions, group risk, business protection, healthcare, cash plans, and employee benefit platforms, but my client requires disciplines ideally in two of the main business areas.
It is important that you have a willingness to work hard and have a ‘can do’ attitude. You will continue to want to develop your knowledge from day-to-day learning and additional reading. You will hold a commitment to study for professional qualifications.
You will manage the volume and prioritisation of work, and deliver a higher standard of service than competitors to retain clients and exceed the expectations of new clients, which includes:

4. Strong verbal and written communication skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. You will ensure the timely delivery of employee benefits scheme processing for all pensions, group risk, business protection, and other schemes/policies as required.
2. You will provide administrative support for new, existing, and complex schemes.
3. You will manage auto-enrolment compliance for all pension schemes.
4. You will manage annual renewal and market reviews for all existing group risk schemes.
5. You will prioritise and process claims and keep clients and consultants up to date with progress.
6. You will ensure bespoke compliance documents are accurate and up to date.
7. You will process monthly payments, ensuring that the contributions are correct.
8. You will organise and prepare for client governance and pre-renewal meetings.
9. You will complete follow-up actions from client meetings in line with instructions from the Consultant, liaising with both client, insurer, and pension provider as required.
10. You will check and issue Policy Documentation.
11. You will assist clients with the implementation of Employee Assistance Programmes.
12. You will prepare Employee Announcement Letters for new and existing schemes.
13. You will keep the Corporate Spreadsheet up to date.
14. You will provide new business quotations for pension, group risk, and business protection.
15. You will draft proposition documents, reports, and presentations for consultants.
16. You will provide feedback to consultants, keeping them up to date.
17. You will ensure IO is up to date and opportunities are added and maintained regularly and correctly, in consultation with the Employee Benefit Consultant/Director.
18. You will liaise with consultants and clients to ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
19. You will support, train, and develop junior team members to enable them to undertake tasks that will benefit the team and ultimately the client.
20. You will undertake project activity to ensure the efficient running of the office e.g., streamlining processes and documents, creating a framework for checking work, ensuring templates/documents are updated and in the right place, workflow management.

Completing all work to a high standard enables delivery of a higher standard of service than competitors to retain clients and exceed the expectations of new clients.

35 hours, Monday - Friday 9 am – 5 pm (this role is hybrid and you may work two days from home).
