About Us and the Role We’re looking for a Mobile Cleaner - Caretaker to join us at our team at Warwickshire County Council. Previous Cleaning & Caretaking experience is preferred but not required as we will provide the training you’ll need. Joining our team, you'll take responsibility for ensuring our building is opened and closed on time; is safe and secure using alarms and undertake routine maintenance work. Cleaning offices, toilets, kitchens, restrooms, workrooms and corridors, clearing litter; general rubbish and recycling; setting up meeting rooms and directing contractors are all part of your role. You’ll undertake training activities; work with internal and external customers and support the wider team as directed. Key Requirements To be successful in this role, you’ll be used to working within a team or solo, on your own initiative, and able to work under pressure. Good customer care skills; flexible in your approach to the duties and willing to support the wider team as necessary are all required. In addition, you’ll take pride in your work and be willing to undertake training are all required. It is essential you have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle as this is a mobile position and you will be required to travel around the county.
