We are seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join the Sense Education team in Carlisle. This role offers valuable experience for those considering a career in education or working with young people.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support pupils in a classroom setting, matched to your skills and experience.
2. Work with pupils who may have social, emotional, and mental health needs, autism, or physical disabilities.
3. Collaborate closely with the teaching team and other professionals to deliver tailored education plans for pupils with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
4. Assist in implementing specialised strategies in partnership with other professionals, such as Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, and Art Therapists.
5. Create and maintain a supportive and nurturing environment where pupils feel safe and can reach their full potential.
