About the Role:
As a Gardener at The Royal Automobile Club, you'll be working on 350 acres of breathtaking landscape. This is a unique opportunity that encompasses not only general garden maintenance but also elements of soft and hard landscaping and the creation of bespoke planting schemes.
Working Hours:
* Monday – Friday: 6.00am-2:30pm
* Every 6 weeks: 2 half days on Saturday and Sunday
Responsibilities:
* Maintain gardens to the required standard
* Collaborate with the Head Gardener on garden upkeep
* Perform tasks in accordance with the Club’s best practices (beds, borders, hedges, lawns, and containers)
About You:
* Horticulture qualification – NVQ 2 or RHS level 2
* Full driving licence essential
* Experience managing annuals, perennials, shrubs, etc.
* Skilled in identifying plant pests and diseases
* Proficient in using handheld machinery
* Comfortable working in all weather conditions
* Experience with early start times
* Knowledge of plant names and identification, Latin preferable
* PA1 & PA6 Qualification
