Job summary This post will work within a wider service user and carer engagement team reporting to the Head of Service User Carer Experience and Engagement under the portfolio of the Trust Chief Nurse. The postholder will work closely with the Lead for Service User Carer Experience to ensure engagement activity is informed by lived experiences of services. The team houses the Trust Recovery Academy and is soon to welcome a new post under the Patient Carer Race Equality Framework so it is an exciting time to join a friendly, talented team who are passionate about improving service user and carer access, experience and outcomes through engagement and inclusion. Main duties of the job This post will work across all services to ensure service user and carer engagement at all levels of the organisation in the design and delivery of services so that they are informed by people with lived experience and represent the needs of local communities. In doing so we aim to improve access, experience and outcomes and reduce health inequalities.
