Our beautiful Shrewsbury care home opens in January 2023 and will provide individually tailored care in luxurious surroundings. Oxbow Manor on Oteley Road in Sutton is starting to take shape. When complete, the home will deliver permanent and short-term nursing and residential care, and specialist dementia care for up to 80 older people. Each of the 80 bedrooms at Oxbow Manor will be beautifully furnished, individually decorated and have its own en-suite wet room. Our ground floor rooms will have direct access to our beautifully landscaped secure gardens. The home will also have a coffee shop, cinema room and hair and beauty salon, as well as extensive gardens and outdoor spaces. The care home will be divided into different suites collections of bedrooms with a dining room and lounge. Creating smaller communities in the home makes it easier for residents to get to know each other, and it keeps hustle and bustle to a minimum, which helps residents who are living with dementia. Other elements of the homes design such as signage, lighting and colour schemes will also promote independence for people living with dementia.
