Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council believe that every family deserves the chance to flourish and thrive.
We are looking to recruit a Team Manager for our Safeguarding locality team. The Team Manager will manage and lead our innovative safeguarding team providing them with supervision, coaching, observation, and guidance so that they can develop their skills to support families to build resilience and facilitate positive change.
We care about the children and young people in Redcar & Cleveland, and we care about our social workers. We are a team that works together to do a difficult job with a shared passion to do the right thing and make a difference.
This role provides an opportunity to be part of the delivery of a high-quality service, improving the lives of children, young people, and their families in Redcar and Cleveland and placing children and young people at the heart of everything we do.
We embody the practice and principles of our “Relationships First” Practice Model with a focus on Relationships that Connect to Build our Communities; it is often the small steps, not the giant leaps, that bring about the most lasting change.
The council holds ambassador status for the North East Better Health at Work Award.
