We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Field Executive to join our team. This role is pivotal in building strong relationships with our retail partner (Pets at Home), driving sales, enhancing brand visibility at store level, and ensuring continuous feedback and reporting to our head office. You will be representing us in the field, visiting retail stores, conducting in-store sampling sessions and reporting insights back to head office. Please note that in this role you will be travelling across the UK to visit retail stores at least 3-4 days a week (with overnight stays), therefore this position will not suit you if you are looking for an office based position only. The working hours for this role are from Wednesday - Sunday. In this role, you can expect to … Visit Retail Stores: Visit designated stores across the UK. Ensure brand & product compliance: the Brand is well-represented in-store, with correct placement and visibility, and products are stocked and displayed attractively, as per the agreed planogram. Train store colleagues on Butternut Box and Fresh, and keep them informed of the latest company’s updates. Develop and maintain relationships with store managers and staff. Collect feedback and ideas from store colleagues on how to improve our operations and performance in store. Conduct In-Store Sampling and Brand Activation: Conduct in-store sampling to engage customers and increase product trials. Represent the brand professionally and share product knowledge with customers and store staff to drive sales. Collect customer feedback during sampling to understand preferences and insights. Report Store Insights and Feedback: Submit daily reports & photos from store visits and sampling sessions to our retail team, including: Provide store-specific insights; Customer behaviour and competitor activities; Feedback from store colleagues and customers. Support the Retail Team on Key Projects: Spend 1-2 days a week working hand in hand with the retail team to support them on key projects, including campaign management (nationwide or regional), trading & performance reporting across the whole retail category, and troubleshooting / problem solving across functions. When we expand our retail store distribution, actively participate in the planning, management and implementation of the rollout. A bit about you: You love interacting with people, are passionate about pet care, and enjoy being on the road, working directly with retailers and customers. Previous experience in a similar role within pet food, FMCG or retail is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Confident in engaging with customers and conducting live demonstrations. Self-motivated and able to work independently to manage time and priorities. Proficiency in reporting tools, CRM software, or basic Microsoft Office applications. Full UK driving license (and ideally your own car).
