About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in Sheffield. This is a permanent, full-time role, starting ASAP. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4, covering a range of topics within the Geography curriculum.
The schools believe in empowering our students to become financially independent. They hold high expectations for all members of the school community and strive to create a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and connected.

Contract: Permanent, full time x term time
Pay scale: Teachers Main/Upper Pay Range (MPR/UPR)
Essential Requirements
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography

Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering engaging Geography lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 students
* Ensuring all pupils make progress by setting high expectations and challenging learning objectives
* Differentiating teaching to meet the diverse needs of students
* Using formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor students' progress
* Providing constructive feedback to students to help them improve
* Developing schemes of work and ensuring resources are relevant and up-to-date
* Actively participating in departmental meetings and school-wide events
* Promoting a safe and inclusive classroom environment that values diversity
* Supporting students' personal, social, and academic development
* Managing and supporting the deployment of teaching assistants in the classroom
