Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repairs and maintenance, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing issues and performing repairs on various vehicles and machinery. This role is essential for ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of our fleet.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify mechanical issues.
2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
3. Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and manual methods.
4. Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed.
5. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
7. Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance service quality.
Experience
1. Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is essential.
2. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
3. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
5. A valid driving licence is preferred.
6. Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are advantageous but not mandatory.
