Job Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee high-end joinery projects from initiation through to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for quality craftsmanship.
1. Plan, execute, and finalise projects according to deadlines and within budget.
2. Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project completion.
3. Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
4. Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure project milestones are met.
5. Conduct regular project meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control.
7. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports.
8. Address any issues that arise during the project lifecycle and implement solutions promptly.
Skills and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Project Manager in the joinery or woodworking industry.
3. Strong knowledge of joinery processes, materials, and construction techniques.
4. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
7. Valid relevant certifications, e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, etc.
