We’re looking for a Payroll Systems Manager to join us at our Shared Service Centre in Bradford. This is a hybrid role with 2 days working from the office.
This is an exciting opportunity for a payroll systems specialist to lead the payroll system support team on the successful delivery and ongoing support of UK payrolls across our payroll systems platforms, with a focus on our Oracle EBS and Fusion platforms. You will be supporting the following areas of our busenss, Virgin Media/O2, Virgin Media Ireland, Liberty Financial Services and Liberty Central.
The role will see the individual working with the Payroll Managers and Oracle ERP Managers as well as the wider payroll teams & the wider business providing comprehensive support and timely resolution of pay systems queries, cyclical projects & ad-hoc change requests from across the growing number of businesses that are supported by the Liberty Global Shared Services Centre.
Sitting within the People Systems Team, you will lead a team of system specialists in managing payroll incidents, defining customer requirements and you will ensure the change governance process is followed for any system, process, or project activity.
What will you be doing?
1. ·Management of the payroll systems team ensuring BAU incidents are completed when they are raised to the team, following them through to a successful resolution ensuring timely responses within service levels to customer requests.
2. Respond to specialist payroll systems queries and data issues and follow them through to a successful resolution working closely with the People Services and /Oracle ERP teams to prioritise systems enhancements driven by continuous improvement activity or systems issues.
3. Review business requirement documents that enable efficient and effective solutions to be built and review solution design documents against requirements, collaborating with ERP teams to ensure they meet customer requirements.
4. Manage pay impacting cyclical projects to ensure that system impacts are identified, review test scripts and plans engaging with key customers to secure resource for change work and user acceptance testing.
5. Manage the successful delivery of ad-hoc projects and solutions driving continuous improvement against agreed objectives, timescales, and quality support.
6. Consult and support on existing & new payroll implementation
7. Provide guidance on key Oracle Fusion and Oracle EBS modules and other HR systems
We tend to look for people with:
8. Experience within a similar system Support / analyst role or relevant experience whilst working within an operational payroll role
9. Experience of end-to-end Payroll Processing
10. Experience in Workday and Oracle ERP modules
11. Experience of managing a team
12. Able to manage conflicting priorities
13. Excellent attention to detailStrong stakeholder management and customer service skills
14. Worked on previous payroll implementation projects
15. Experience of working with large data populations
