Position
We are looking for experienced industry professionals who have the energy and commitment to inspire success and deliver exceptional teaching and learning to our learners on their Early Years/Childcare apprenticeship.
As a Personal Tutor, you will support a caseload of learners with progressive visits and observations, providing outstanding teaching and learning to enhance the knowledge and teaching our learners receive from our recently introduced Elevate programme.
You will use our sophisticated LMS system BUD to monitor your learners' progress and work in collaboration with our Learning Support for any learners who require Functional Skills or Additional Learning Support, ensuring that every learner is at the heart of what we do.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Engaging, motivating, and inspiring learners to achieve their work-based qualification.
2. Providing innovative and impactful teaching and learning.
3. Managing a minimum funded diverse caseload of learners in Early Years/Childcare.
4. Delivering an outstanding experience for all learners and employers.
5. Stretching and challenging your learners to succeed and reach their potential.
6. Providing valuable and insightful feedback to every learner to enable further professional development.
7. Building and nurturing strong relationships with our employer partners.
8. Championing and encouraging the use of Elevate Workshops.
9. Driving progression through impactful visits.
10. Providing detailed feedback to learners and employers following review meetings or observations.
11. Adhering to GDPR regulations and all internal information and data security policies and procedures.
If you have experience of supporting learners by delivering innovative, impactful, and engaging remote sessions, with a strong background and knowledge in the Early Years/Childcare Sector at a senior or managerial level, with the ability to stretch and challenge your learners to continually develop, apply now!
Requirements
What our ideal applicant has:
1. Minimum of Level 3 Assessor (CAVA, TAQA, D32, A1, V1).
2. Teaching qualification (AET, PTTLS, CET, Cert Ed, PGCE).
3. Level 3 or 5 qualifications within the Early Years/Childcare sector.
4. Occupational competency at a senior level.
5. Experience of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
6. Experience of managing a diverse caseload.
7. Knowledge and experience of EPA.
8. Ability to adapt and differentiate sessions depending on different learning styles and accessibility levels.
9. Ability to manage own time and resources effectively.
10. Able to travel and commit to in-person learner observations.
