The Role - Resident Site Engineer / Maintenance Engineer
Working Monday to Friday, Mornings and Afters NO nights.
1. Carry out automated materials handling equipment servicing, in accordance with quality standards.
2. Electrical and mechanical breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, to include dock leveller, packaging machinery, chain and roller conveyors and cranes.
3. Working with Siemens S7 and safety PLC's.
4. Always comply with Health & Safety legislation.
5. Working at heights.
6. To always ensure quality of output.
7. To accurately record all work undertaken.
8. Always maintain product flow.
9. To ensure on-site spares are kept to optimum levels.
10. To always represent the company in a professional manner and maintain customer relations.
11. To adhere to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company.
12. All decisions made on site are always with customer in mind providing a world class customer service.
13. Prioritising system faults in line with the customers operation and requirements.
14. To accurately record all work undertaken, ensuring the CMMS is maintained and updated.
The Person - Resident Site Engineer / Maintenance Engineer
1. A Multi Skilled Engineer with a good all round Electrical and Mechanical understanding.
2. Time served engineer or ONC in Electrical OR Mechanical Engineering.
3. Experience of working with automated machinery is essential for this role.
4. Good understanding of PLC systems, Siemens S7 desirable, but other systems will be considered.
5. Happy to work at heights.
6. This is a customer facing role, so you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
7. 17th or 18th Edition.
8. Wiring regulations and Inspection and Testing OR willing to study for these.
