Specific Responsibilities:
1. In conjunction with the Head of Coaching (HOC) and Lead YDP/ FP Coach oversee and deliver the technical programme for academy players in the YDP/ FP
2. Monitor the development of the players, recording individual player data on the PMA
3. Liaise with the Head of Coaching and Lead YDP/ FP Coach to create session plans appropriate to individual learning
4. Devise individual learning objectives and action plans for each player within the YDP
5. In conjunction with the HOC, Lead YDP/ FP Coach and Head of Education formulate and deliver a review process every 6 weeks for each Academy player and provide written assessment player feedback bi-annually to the parents
6. Liaise closely with the Head of Recruitment/AMT on identifying and monitoring trialist players for the YDP/ FP age groups
About The Candidate
Qualifications:
* UEFA B License
* FA Advanced Youth Award (or willing to work towards)
* FA Youth Award
* In-date FA Level 2 First Aid/EFAiF
* In-date FA Safeguarding
* In-date Enhanced DBS
Experience:
* Strong experience of coaching players in the Youth Development Phase in an academy environment
* Experience of helping players to transition from the Youth Development Phase into the Professional Development Phase in an academy environment
* Experience of helping players transition from the Foundation Phase to the Youth Development Phase in an academy environment
* Previous success of producing players that are now playing in the professional game
