ADAS, part of RSK Group, is seeking Ecologists at all levels to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. This role will be hybrid, predominantly home based with travel to one of our offices in Oxford, Cambridge, Kent or Surrey when required.

Key Responsibilities
1. Undertaking baseline habitat survey, assessment and reporting
2. Working alone and with our existing ecologists in the wider region to ensure quality projects are delivered on time to our clients
3. Talking to our clients to ensure quality delivery of projects to deadlines
4. Writing of technical reports ready for review by your colleagues, such as ecological constraints reports, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments, and protected species reports
Person Specification
Essential:
5. A full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
6. Graduate level education in a relevant subject
7. Good working knowledge and experience of ecology, legislation, and survey techniques, including protected species surveys and mitigation
8. Excellent written communication skills and be able to produce accurate technical reports to a professional standard
9. A pro-active attitude to managing your own time, finding solutions and ensuring that work is delivered on time and to the required standards
Desirable:
10. CIEEM membership
11. Experience of Biodiversity Net Gain assessment and UKHABs
12. Strong botanical skills (e.g., NVC, Condition Assessments)
13. One protected species licence (e.g., Great Crested Newt or Bats)
Salary and Benefits
14. Up to £45,000 per annum, depending on skills, experience and level applied for
