We're committed to excellence, delivering top-notch products and service while fostering a positive work culture grounded in our core values: Passionate and driven, Everyone is accountable, Respectful and inclusive, Family atmosphere, Efficient, Customer-focused, and Trustworthy. Recently, the LabLogic Group was honoured with the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade and achieved the Investors In People Gold accreditation, affirming our commitment to creating an exceptional workplace. Join us in a collaborative, close-knit team, where benefits like our annual Center Parcs trip and race days foster positive working relationships. LabLogic Systems Ltd is not just a workplace; it's a rewarding journey in a globally acclaimed organisation.
The Role
As a Quality Analyst based at our Sheffield head office, you will join a team that's leading the industry and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our globally acclaimed software products.
As a software tester you will be working closely with other members of the QA team as well as directly with our Software Developers and Service Engineers. You will be involved in the final testing of our global leading software products before they are released onto the market, as well as providing feedback from testing performed at key stages throughout the development process. Your role is integral to the creation of our software systems and instrument functionality tests and as such you’ll be seen as the last line of defence before the software is released.
In addition, there will be the need to perform regulatory controlled software validations for our highly regulated customers, which will be either off the shelf validations or bespoke validations and perform these at the customers’ facilities. Many of our customers who use our software work within drug discovery and nuclear medicines and so possessing a scientific background within these fields would be advantageous. Knowledge or experience working within drug discovery or environmental studies would also be hugely beneficial.
In addition, as LabLogic Systems has ISO 9001 accreditation across a number of sites, there is the opportunity for the successful candidate to take part in conducting internal quality audits across the group. However, this is a potential secondary role to the main role of testing software.
