As a Behaviour Support Officer, you’ll be a key part of our dedicated team, helping students overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural challenges.
2. Implement and follow individualized behaviour plans to support students in managing their behaviour.
3. Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff, and parents to ensure consistent behavioural strategies are in place.
4. Use de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively.
5. Promote positive behaviour across the school and encourage students’ social and emotional development.
6. Monitor and report on student progress, contributing to wider school goals.

1. Experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural challenges.
2. A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to managing challenging situations.
3. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
4. The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
