As, Veterinary Services Officer you will: · Clinical Systems Management – Maintain and support PDSA’s veterinary systems, including system configuration, user support, and routine maintenance to ensure smooth clinical operations. · Digital Transformation Support – Collaborate with the Veterinary Systems Manager and digital project teams to deliver functional testing, system updates, and assist in implementing system upgrades and patches. · Stakeholder Communication & Engagement – Act as a liaison between clinical teams, IT, and external providers to ensure system issues and development needs are identified, communicated, and resolved effectively. · Training & User Support – Provide technical support, guidance, and training materials for veterinary staff to ensure confident and effective use of systems. · Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement – Investigate system-related issues and support testing of enhancements and new features, contributing to continuous improvement of the veterinary digital estate. · Data Management & Reporting – Assist in managing data integrity within systems and support the production of accurate, timely clinical reports to inform operational decisions. We’re seeking someone with: · Clinical or Systems Experience – Background in a veterinary or healthcare setting, with experience using or supporting clinical systems. · Digital & IT Competency – Confident with clinical software platforms and capable of assisting in system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting. · Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills – Ability to engage positively with a wide range of clinical and technical stakeholders, translating complex information clearly. · Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking – Skilled at identifying root causes of system issues and contributing to user-focused solutions. · Organisational & Project Support Skills – Able to manage multiple priorities, contribute to project delivery, and support implementation of new technologies. · Training & Documentation – Experience in developing user guides, supporting training initiatives, and promoting best practice in system use.
