REGIONAL BUSINESS LINE MANAGER
This position is responsible for the execution of the sales strategy for the Saunders HC4 business. The Regional Business Line Manager will identify distinct competitive advantages to develop the best growth opportunities in revenue, market share, and profitability. In addition, the Regional Business Line Manager will provide training and education to the sales teams and customers while assisting sales in targeting opportunities and winning orders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for Development and Implementation of short and long-term strategy for the respective assigned regions. This includes full analysis of competitive landscape, regional market economic, industry indicators, analysis and projection of regional market size, growth rates, current share position.
2. Provide front-end technical sales support, and assist Account Managers / Sales Engineers to provide pre-sale and post-sale technical support.
3. Develop materials for and conduct sales training which highlight product features/benefits and differentiated technical advantages.
4. Analyze market data to provide business performance reporting and define growth opportunities.
5. Provide support to Global Business Line Manager to perform competitive benchmarking and set pricing.
6. Play an active role in the new product development process by assisting business managers in identifying and researching new product ideas which support existing applications and improve our value proposition or technical advantage.
7. Conduct voice of the customer research to ensure successful launch of new products.
YOUR PROFILE
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Marketing, Business or related discipline. MBA preferred.
2. At least 4 years’ experience in a technical quotations or product support position.
3. Exceptional data and market analytical skills.
4. Exceptional customer and communication skills.
5. Ability to fluently communicate orally and in writing in English including technical and business understanding.
6. Rapid learning ability.
7. ‘Hands-on’ approach – resilient and tenacious.
8. Assertive leadership style to influence a matrix organization.
9. Computer fluency with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
10. Commercial experience with industrial customers and/or distribution preferred.
