JOB TITLE: Special Events Manager - Foundation & Fundraising

JOB FUNCTION: Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing high-profile events that support the Foundation's fundraising and community engagement goals
LOCATION: Stamford Bridge
CONTRACT: Permanent

PLAY YOUR PART (Main Responsibilities):
1. Collaborate with the Major Donor Manager and Head of Philanthropic Partnerships to create a strategic events calendar that drives revenue for the Foundation while supporting its mission.
2. Work alongside the Fundraising and Club teams to design and execute innovative and high impact marquee events that drive supporter engagement, align with the Foundation's goals, and increase fundraising opportunities.
3. Provide oversight and support for supporter participation events such as marathons, golf tournaments, cycle races, etc.
4. Partner with the Club's Commercial Partnership Team to develop and pitch sponsorship opportunities for events, engaging Club Partners effectively.
5. Collaborate with the Major Donor Manager, the Head of Philanthropic Partnerships, and the Foundation CEO to ensure key stakeholders are properly stewarded at events and receive a premium experience.
6. Work closely with the Impact and Evaluation team to review event outcomes, gathering insights to improve future experiences and enhance guest satisfaction.
7. Oversee event budgets, working with vendors and sponsors to ensure all logistical needs are met on time and within financial parameters.
8. Collaborate with the Foundation and Club's Communication teams to develop event materials and promote events, driving attendance and awareness.
9. Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM records, ensuring seamless data management and effective relationship tracking.
10. Provide additional support to the Fundraising team as and when required.

Experience:
1. Proven experience in planning and executing a variety of large-scale events with excellent financial ROI, preferably for a charity.
2. Exceptional relationship building skills, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders.
3. Strong project management and organizational skills.
4. Experience in budget management, with a record of meeting or exceeding financial targets.
5. Proficient in using CRM software to track revenue, attendance, and more.
6. Experience in cultivating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
