The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Define and communicate the organisation’s technical vision and strategy.
Align technical objectives with overall business goals in collaboration with executive leadership.
Identify and integrate emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
Lead technical investments, resource planning, and risk management.
Technical Excellence
Establish and oversee robust technical standards and best practices.
Ensure the consistent delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions across operations.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and creativity.
Stay ahead of technological advancements to inform and enhance operational strategies.
Team Management
Build and lead a high-performing technical team, including Factory Technical Manager and Customer Technical Manager.
Define clear goals, roles, and performance expectations for team members.
Develop and mentor talent, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
Drive knowledge sharing and communication across departments.
Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and seamless delivery of technical initiatives.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
Represent the organisation at technical discussions, industry events, and conferences.
Risk Management & Compliance
Manage technical risks, ensuring data security, compliance, and system integrity.
Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
What You’ll Bring
Extensive experience in a senior technical leadership role, ideally within the food, fresh produce, or FMCG sectors.
Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Strong business acumen to align technical initiatives with organisational goals.
Knowledge of industry standards, regulatory compliance, and emerging technologies.
