New Business Manager - (Metavision Talent Pool)

Platforms like Fortnite, Roblox, and Minecraft form a significant chunk of the media diets of 100s of millions, in some cases overtaking major social networks. And this trend shows no sign of slowing down.
Metavision is an award-winning studio and agency for immersive media. We deliver strategy, creative and production in immersive platforms for brands and entertainment companies. From ongoing branded worlds to creative strategy, entertainment formats and IP partnerships, Metavision is the entry point to immersive media.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic New Business Manager to lead our business development efforts and drive revenue growth as we expand into 2025 and beyond.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the (UGC) gaming industry, with a deep understanding of UGC platforms like Fortnite, Roblox and Minecraft amongst others.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding our client base and relationships across various sectors, including entertainment, brands, media & creative agencies.
Key Responsibilities
* Business Development
o Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across the UGC gaming landscape, creating a brand and agency sales strategy for Metavision.
o Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth across multiple platforms (Fortnite, Roblox, Minecraft).
o Build a pipeline of prospective clients, bringing in briefs & RFPs, and building long-term partnerships.
o Keep Metavision top of mind for any party looking to activate in immersive media platforms.
* Strategic Partnerships
o Forge and maintain strategic partnerships with brands, IP holders, media & creative agencies.
o Collaborate with platform holders (Epic Games, Roblox, Mojang Studios) to maximize platform potential.
* Client Management
o Act as the primary point of contact for new and prospective clients, ensuring their needs are met.
o Work closely with clients to understand their goals and develop customized solutions.
* Market Analysis
o Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the UGC gaming space.
o Stay informed of the latest developments within Fortnite, Roblox, and Minecraft.
* Revenue Growth
o Drive revenue by creating and managing a robust sales pipeline.
o Work with the leadership team to set and achieve sales targets.
Key Criteria
1. A track record of business development and sales across experiential, gaming, esports, TV.
2. Confidence forging relationships and new partnerships.
3. Existing brand and agency relationships.
4. Experience working with brand and agency personnel.
5. An interest in and understanding of gaming, TV, entertainment and immersive media.
6. Understanding of youth-facing advertising/game/experiential advertising.
7. Social Community Management.
