Area Sales Manager Job Summary: The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share for our diesel and energy storage product lines. This role involves developing strategic sales initiatives, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure product success and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate must have experience in any of the following products: Power Generators, Engines, Renewable products Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the diesel and energy storage markets. Identify and target potential clients, leveraging market research to optimize sales initiatives. Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. Customer Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and expand relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners. Provide product demonstrations and technical support to customers. Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention. Market Analysis & Reporting: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management. Utilize CRM tools to manage client information and track sales performance. Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with product development, marketing, and technical teams to ensure the alignment of product offerings with market demands. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities. Mentor and guide junior sales staff, contributing to overall team development. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on diesel products, energy storage solutions, or related industrial markets. Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand complex product specifications. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team. Willingness to travel frequently within the designated territory.
