Job Description
We are recruiting for a Commercial Manager to lead our social housing development contract with Islington Council.
Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for our Core Delivery - high volume maintenance and retrofitting refurbishment projects - ensuring accounts and commercial procedures are adhered to and compliant, sufficient resources are in place, all contractual administration is undertaken correctly, and requirements are understood. The successful candidate will have a certain element of gravitas to lead a senior team and must have proven social housing/retrofitting expertise.
Essential Qualifications/Skills
1. Strong leadership and influencing skills
2. Proven commercial management pedigree (10-15 years’ experience)
3. Proven understanding of complex, high volume retrofitting projects
4. Experience of managing a regional team (5 direct reports)
5. Significant contract knowledge and associated contract administration and negotiations
6. Professional membership to RICS and degree educated
