Job Description
This role is for a 1st Line IT Support Analyst based in Chorley, working with a company that supplies EPoS and Patient Medication Record (PMR) systems to the pharmacy sector.
Responsibilities
* Be the main contact via telephone to support pharmacy dispensers with IT issues.
* Provide remote support using remote access tools.
* Log and categorize calls and emails within a CRM system.
* Update and maintain the knowledge base.
* Coordinate with Engineers by raising jobs and liaising with them.
* Take ownership of incidents and resolve them efficiently.
* Document issues and escalate to the 2nd line team when necessary.
Requirements
* Good communication skills (written and verbal).
* Reasonable IT skills and a problem-solving attitude.
* Ability to manage workload effectively and take ownership of issues.
Benefits
Starting salary of £24,700 + overtime, with a review to £25,000. The role offers training, career progression, and additional benefits. The position is based in Adlington, Chorley, with some remote work.
