We have new opportunities available fo r Senior Support Workers to join our new supported living service Edgar House based in Lindley, Huddersfield, HD3 3BB. Salary: £12.75 per hour Hours: full time and part time permenant contracts available working various shfits including days and waking nights to be discused further at interview. We are developing a new and exciting mental health supported living scheme for Adults with enduring Mental Health Illnesses (18) in Lindley Huddersfield. As senior support worker you will be responsible for leading the staff team in delivering a service, which enables each service user to improve their mental health, and ultimately achieve their full potential. The service will provide background support 24/7 with the provision of wake-in night support. The Services will be expected to have the required level of expertise, as identified through the framework arrangements, to support individuals with varying and fluctuating levels of mental health who will have been assessed as having the potential to flourish in a supportive environment as they move towards greater levels of independence. The service is due to open in November with a full induction of staff taking place prior to opening. You will also have a level 3 Diploma (or equivelant qualification) in health & Social Care or be willing to work towards.
