Job Description:
From countries, to cities, to homes. On land and under the seas, Prysmian is the industry leader bringing power and communications to the world. As demand for both continues to soar and industries shift towards renewable and sustainable energy sources, Transmission System Operators (TSOs) are increasingly developing, extending, and upgrading their power grids.
We are strategic partners for our TSO customers, supporting the development and production of transmission grids, and facilitating the bulk movement of electrical energy from generation sites to substations. We emphasize innovation and invest in R&D, offering HVAC and HVDC cable systems for power transmission, suitable for land and submarine connections.
Within our UK Power Grids business, our team of experienced High Voltage Cable Technicians performs jointing and related work on high voltage cable systems, a vital part of the UK's energy infrastructure. This includes maintaining the current network and assisting with new energy source installations.
