This is an exciting opportunity for an Accommodation Assistant to join the Accommodation Team within Facilities Management. This is a dynamic customer service, student focused role and supports the creative function of a safe and inclusive community for residential students. The Team, strive to ensure students feel supported, engaged and able to live independently within our accommodation and this role is vital to enabling that success. You will support the delivery of a holistic 52-week service to our students, ensuring that the transition from home to university living is achieved as smoothly as possible and will help to foster and manage self-supporting communities of students. The Accommodation Team act as a single point of contact for the residential students as well as providing support across each community area as appropriate. You will take responsibility for administrative supporting the team in all aspects, including collating data, writing reports, answering student enquiries and dealing with low level complaints. This role will support and administer the delivery of key accommodation activities including transfers and terminations. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. A real "can do" customer service approach. Excellent IT Skills. Experience working in customer service led profession.
