For succession reasons, Stanfords are seeking an experienced and ambitious Rural Surveyor to join their professional team in Colchester, Essex. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to carry out a wide range of work across East Anglia, as well as exploring areas of their own interest.
As a Partner level Rural Surveyor, the successful candidate will be required to lead and inspire a team of surveyors to deliver results and add value for clients. You will be expected to maintain existing client relations, whilst nurturing and cultivating new relationships with clients and local property professionals. Key responsibilities will be:
1. Providing strategic direction and leadership to the rural surveying team
2. Overseeing and managing all aspects of rural surveying work including management, consultancy and valuation
3. Maintaining existing client relationships and cultivating new clients
4. Developing and implementing strategies to drive growth and efficiency
5. Act in a manner which promotes the firm, RICS and wider industry
6. Informed about agricultural matters with a broad range of experience.

The successful candidate should:
1. Be MRICS qualified and to be/or eligible to be a RICS Registered Valuer
2. Be a qualified member of CAAV
