The Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN. Working within a well-resourced and specialist setting, the SEN Teacher will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that cater to individual learning needs Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and wider school staff Develop and implement EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) Foster strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals Support students in developing key life skills alongside academic progress Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with complex needs, ASD, or communication difficulties A strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies, interventions, and behaviour management techniques Excellent communication and teamwork skills A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to teaching Additional Information: This school group is unable to provide sponsorship; applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
