The Role

As a Project Manager / Business Analyst, you'll play a dual role in driving project success and ensuring business needs are met. You'll oversee the scoping, planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects while also gathering and analysing requirements to help shape business strategies.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating with stakeholders, managing project timelines and budgets, and translating business goals into actionable solutions that drive efficiency and value for the full project lifecycle.
Duties Include:
1. Maintain accountability to ensure successful delivery of projects on time and in budget.
2. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s).
3. Identify resources and assign responsibilities.
4. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
5. Manage the Project budget; meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances and initiating corrective actions.
6. Work with developers and designers to define and document questions, liaise with business via email, IM or phone to get new requirements and explain feasibility.
7. Submit project status reports to stakeholders; review risks and issues; plan software releases; anticipate and react to change.
8. Contribute to the vision of IT to maximise the success of business and IT enterprise initiatives.
9. Shape business requirements by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives for proposed solutions.
10. Obtain a deep understanding of relevant business area(s) to be able to recommend solutions and build high-quality requirements.
11. Use a variety of techniques to understand business requirements, such as interviews, workshops, surveys, site visits, and storyboards.
12. Work with business and delivery teams to prioritise requirements.
13. Help resolve competing priorities between stakeholder groups by facilitating stakeholder discussions and escalating issues where appropriate.
14. Build successful stakeholder relationships with IT & Business leaders by developing a clear understanding of their needs, acting as a trusted advisor.
15. Ensure knowledge of and compliance with all Company Policies, Procedures and Rules.
16. Create and deliver project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Skills & Experience Required:
1. At least 3 years of experience in project management and business analysis, preferably in an IT environment.
2. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
3. Proven experience in scoping, requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
4. Proficiency with project management and analysis tools (Process Flows & Project Plans).
5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills when dealing with people of all levels of the business.
6. Ability to deal with multiple projects, both big and small.
7. Strong level of documentation keeping.
8. Strong attention to detail & thinking on your feet.
9. Ability to bring people together to achieve shared outcomes.
10. Willingness to travel regularly.
11. Ability to travel freely within the UK and Europe.
12. A 'Can do' attitude.
13. Full UK driving licence.
