The recruitment process: CV submission to Aer Lingus Telephone interview by Aer Lingus to verify experience and suitability for the role Teams interview with Aer Lingus UK Flight Operations and HR Psychometric & aptitude evaluations Sim assessment Intoxicant screening Your qualifications and key criteria Job Entry Requirements: • Minimum age of 18 years • Eligible to live and work in the UK without restriction • Must be able to apply for and obtain relevant US immigration/entry visas which is a pre-requisite for the role (for travel to/from the United States). • Hold a valid passport allowing unrestricted worldwide travel • Ability to report for duty within 120 minutes when on standby duty • UK CAA issued ATPL or ATPL (f) licence • A minimum total flying time of 1,500 hours, with at least 1,000 hours on an Airbus type (preferably A330 or A320) • A fully funded CCQ onto the A330 will be provided by Aer Lingus for suitable candidates who require it (this will be bonded for 2 years) • LPC must be valid upon commencement • Fluent in English, both spoken and written. • ELP level 5 required • Flexibility and adaptability to working shifts, unsociable hours, weekends, holidays and overnights • Able to pass an airport security vetting procedure, including a five-year background check Closing Date: 21st February 2025 Note: This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not an exhaustive list of skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities, or working conditions associated with it.
