What skills and experience we're looking for
To apply for the Teacher of Science opportunity you must hold:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree or equivalent in Science or a relevant subject.
• Experience in teaching Science at key stages 3, 4 and 5.
• Recent and relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
What the school offers its staff
Wrenn School is unique, we are lucky enough to be a split site school, enabling us to provide a lower and upper school site. The school has beautiful grounds, purpose-built Art, Music, Drama and Design Technology, Wrenn Astro, playing fields, hard play areas and Gyms provide excellent facilities for our pupils. We have a strong Safeguarding team at the academy and a strong culture for Safeguarding in the school. Safeguarding is fully compliant, and the wellbeing of students is a real strength of the academy. The school has been awarded Northamptonshire School of the Year for a second time in 2021 for the exceptional care and guidance provided to the students during the last year. We invest in students’ cultural capital through a very strong personal and community enrichment programme. We have strong links to our community and work closely with local partners and providers to maximise opportunities for all students.
