We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and hard-working Electric Vehicle Charging Expert to join the Store Construction Building Services Team at our Head Office in London. What you'll do
1. Utilise your passion to provide expertise to the business on all things Electric Vehicle Charging (EVC).
2. Help develop our ongoing strategy through analysis of the latest data, topics, and trends within the EV sector.
3. Be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance management and coordination of all chargers within our network with external partners, always maximising availability for our customers.
4. Manage and support the site-specific installations and UK-wide rollouts of EV Chargers and related works.
5. Liaise with stakeholders both internally and externally, from DNOs and Contractors to our Store Colleagues and Customer Care.
6. Manage and implement quality control procedures to achieve the highest standards across all our locations.
7. Support the development of and drive improvements within our specifications for EVCs.
8. Monitor usage, analyse data, and manage the financials of our EVC network. Providing monthly reports internally to Senior Management.
9. Plan annual financial budgets and continually monitor performance against them.
10. Manage resources and coordinate logistics for EV Chargers within our existing portfolio and our ambitious expansion plans.
11. Stay up to date on the latest technological, statutory, and infrastructure developments within the industry.
12. Regularly deliver presentations to Senior Management and other internal stakeholders.
13. Ensure compliance with relevant business procedures.
14. Serve as point of contact for regional construction and property teams to support on EVC topics and queries.
15. Manage and deliver other ad-hoc projects within the Construction Department as required from time to time.
What you'll need
1. Experienced in working with Electric Vehicle Chargers or within the EVC industry.
2. Passionate for the topic of Electric Vehicle Charging and Sustainability.
3. Understanding of Electrical Building Services and regulations.
4. Degree-level or other qualifications/education in a relevant field.
5. Eye for detail and strong commercial acumen.
6. Excellent organisational skills.
7. The ability to multi-task and handle conflicting deadlines.
8. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
9. Clear and effective communication skills.
10. Equal comfort working within a team and on your own.
11. Willingness to travel within the UK frequently, including overnight stays where required.
12. German speaking is advantageous but not essential.
