About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Operative, with a main trade of Carpentry to join our reactive and empty homes team in Norwich. This role will work to help deliver an effective and efficient repairs service to our tenants, dealing with reactive repairs in our occupied properties as well as working on our empty homes to ensure they are fit for relet. You will ensure that repairs are carried out in a timely manner and to ensure a high standard of work to our properties.
This plays a key role in being responsible for providing an excellent service to our tenants.
The Main Focus Of The Role Will Be
1. To be responsible for effective and efficient repairs to our homes, carrying out repairs to a high standard in empty homes and occupied properties.
2. To support, when required, with the planned works programme (including Aids and Adaptations).
3. To complete allocated work within carpentry trade/skill set as well as any additional trade/skills such as plumbing, tiling, painting/decorating, and plastering.
4. To help us provide an excellent service to our tenants, minimising call backs and maximising first-time fixes.
About You
1. Minimum of either full trade Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry.
2. Skilled in other trades such as tiling, plumbing, plastering, painting, and decorating.
3. A driving licence as travel throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk will be required.
4. Experience of working in Property Maintenance.
5. Good IT, literacy, and communication skills.
6. A positive can-do attitude and the ability to work independently and problem-solve.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and will join our on-call rota.
