I'm supporting a client that is a global banking group looking to hire a senior Lawyer with extensive knowledge of UK prudential regulations.
This role will work alongside another very experienced lawyer and report to an MD who was previously a partner with a magic circle firm.
The role will play a crucial role in all areas of prudential regulation including:
* All areas of prudential reporting & disclosures
* Regulatory capital & liquidity rules
* Supporting on operational continuity & resilience
They need someone who knows their way around this space, with two obvious avenues:
* A regulatory Lawyer with expert knowledge of prudential regulations
* A DCM lawyer with a strong understanding of the prudential landscape
They are open to considering candidates from in-house or direct out of private practice, but due to the nature of the role, they cannot consider solely transferable skills.
There is both a general advisory and a transactional element to the role, which is at the center of what is happening in the bank. This role will involve working closely with some of the most senior stakeholders, including the Group GC.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person, so please get in touch ASAP if you'd like to discuss or submit your CV for consideration.
