Inventory Controller

Location: Norfolk
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Days (Flexibility for occasional overtime)
Salary: From £28,000p/a DOE

The Role:
The Inventory Controller will handle tasks ranging from stock counting and inventory recording to assisting with inventory analysis and reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform stock and cycle counts for accurate tracking.
* Help receive, label, store materials, and update inventory records.
* Identify and report stock discrepancies, ensuring quality checks are met.
* Monitor inventory levels and report low stock.
* Maintain storage practices to reduce waste and preserve materials.
* Use inventory software for tracking and movements.
* Keep stock records accurate and assist with data entry.
* Coordinate with production and procurement teams for materials.
* Help prepare materials for production.
* Work with the supply chain team to track shipments and update stock.
* Report hazards or non-compliance issues.
What We're Looking For:
* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an inventory, stock control, or warehouse role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Familiarity with inventory management software.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow processes accurately.
* Physical ability to lift, move, and handle components and materials as needed.
* Driving Licence
Desirable Qualifications:
* Forklift Licence (counterbalance)
* First Aid and Fire Warden training.
