Position: Utility Service Advisor
Location: Welwyn Garden City, Herts
Salary: £24,000 per annum + £2k discretionary annual bonus (paid quarterly)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time, Monday - Friday / WFH up to 3 days after successful completion of probation period / 37.5 Hours per week
Utility Service Advisor:
Do you have excellent customer service and administration skills? Maybe you have some experience in the Energy or Utility markets? Although this is not essential. Job Role:
Our client is looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual with excellent analytical and attention to detail skills. This self-starter will be confident in building relationships with suppliers and will have a very strong sense of using their own initiative and excellent customer service skills.
Principal Responsibilities:
1. Manage utility customer service queries to resolution within agreed timescales
2. Resolve utility queries with varying levels of complexity
3. Co-ordinate changes of tenancy
4. Build strong relationships with utility suppliers and internal customers
5. Confirm contract information with suppliers
6. Validate invoices
7. Issue utility contract terminations
8. Resolve any objections that may arise due to supplier changes
9. Participate in any ad-hoc tasks or projects that may arise
10. Keep up to date with industry changes and update internally
11. Update internal systems accurately with query notes and contract information
Requirements:
1. Highly customer focused with strong numeracy, problem solving, and analytical skills
2. Strong organisational, multi-tasking, prioritisation, and attention to detail skills
3. Assertive, determined, and self-motivated with a curious mind
4. A natural team player with a desire to ensure team targets are always met
5. Deadline driven
6. Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
7. Excel proficient
8. A willingness to adapt, be flexible, and continuously improve existing processes
9. A thirst for knowledge and keenness to develop through own resourcefulness
10. A 'can do’ attitude capable of challenging what they’re being told by suppliers
Advantageous:
1. Understanding of the Energy Market
2. Utility customer service experience
