Lincolnshire County Council are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to become part of our team working in Langton's Café within the grounds of Lincoln Castle.
We are looking for a cheerful, confident and well-organised person to join our catering team. You would form part of a small team providing a warm, friendly and positive welcome to our visitors. You must be comfortable using your own initiative and be able to multitask.
You will assist in general food preparation, adhering to the highest of food and hygiene standards. Our ideal candidate will have previous catering and cash handling experience coupled with excellent customer service skills; however, a great attitude and strong willingness to learn will go a very long way.
A job share will be considered and relief catering assistant vacancies will also be available. You will work 11 am to 3 pm on both Saturdays and Sundays.
Above all else, we are looking for a team player with the passion to work within a world-class heritage attraction who ensures every customer has a wonderful experience and wants to visit us again.
